1. Who We Are

Thailand Move Check (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs this website, sells the reports, guides and consultations on it, and is the seller of record for those purchases. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

2. Information We Collect

Quiz answers

Your responses to the assessment, used to generate your result and stored so your report can be produced and re-opened later.

Email address

We ask for your email before showing your free result. We use it to send your receipt, your download links, and support replies. We do not add you to a marketing list without your separate consent.

Purchase information

Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card number. From PayPal we receive the email address on your PayPal account, the transaction id, the amount, and the payment status. We store those alongside a record of what you bought, which we need for delivery, refunds, and support.

Download links

Buying a guide creates a download link tied to your purchase and your email address. We record which files it covers, when it was issued, and how many times it has been used, so that we can reissue it if you lose it and stop it working if you are refunded. The link itself is stored only as a one-way hash, so a copy of our database yields no working links.

Consultation bookings

If you buy a call, you are asked to complete a short form hosted on Google Forms so we know what to prepare. Whatever you write there, which may include your budget, timeline, visa situation and personal circumstances, is visible to us and is held in Google's systems under Google's own privacy terms. Share only what you are comfortable sharing. We use it to prepare for and conduct your call, and for nothing else.

Technical data

Standard server information such as your IP address, browser type and referring URL. Your IP address is also used for short-lived rate limiting, to stop automated abuse of the checkout and download endpoints.

3. How We Use It

• To generate and show your assessment result
• To deliver the report, guides or bundle you bought
• To send your receipt and download links
• To prepare for and run a consultation you booked
• To handle refunds, reissued links and support enquiries
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To understand how the site is used, in aggregate

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it beyond the providers listed in section 7 or where the law requires it.

4. Where It Is Stored

Quiz answers, results, purchase records and download entitlements are held in Google Firestore. The guide PDFs themselves are held in Google Cloud Storage, in the United States, and are not publicly accessible: each download is served through a private link that expires within minutes.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies and Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors move through it: pages viewed, quiz completions, and whether a checkout was started or finished. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes data on Google's infrastructure under Google's privacy terms. You can block it with any standard browser setting, extension, or Google's own opt-out tool, and the site works normally without it.

We run no advertising cookies and no cross-site advertising trackers.

We also use ordinary browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to hold your quiz progress and result between pages. That stays in your browser.

6. How Long We Keep It

Purchase records and download entitlements are kept while they are needed to deliver what you bought and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Download links expire twelve months after they are issued. Quiz answers and results are kept so you can re-open your report.

Ask us to delete your data and we will remove your personally identifiable information within 30 days, other than records we are legally required to keep, such as transaction records for tax purposes.

Each operates under its own privacy policy. Some are based in the United States, so your information may be processed outside your own country.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us to exercise any of these and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
